Sally Christ, Program Director

Sally Christ co-founded Tamu Safaris in 1987 with a strong background in medical anthropology and the cultures of East Africa. During nearly 18 years in Africa, Sally has lived in remote villages for extended periods of time, conducting ethnobotanical field studies, and served as a consultant on tourism development and ecotourism.
